Home schooling can be isolating in that (by definition) we "teacher-moms" spend so much time at home with our kids.  It can be difficult to connect with other home schooling moms to visit and exchange ideas. 

So I get much of my interaction with other home schoolers on internet message boards.  As "Katherine B. in TX," I post many of my ideas, while I ask questions and learn from others.
