Katherine Bell is a full-time, home schooling mother of
three, and a part-time Christian author and speaker.
She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Texas Tech University, where
she graduated Summa Cum Laude, in Honors Studies, in 1986.
She minored in biology, with special
concentration in genetics.
Jonathan's Journey, Katherine's first novel, was published by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 1994, then reprinted by WinePress in 1998. The Hungarian translation -- Jonatán Utazása -- was published by JóHír in 1999, and is being distributed as part of that mission's evangelical efforts in Eastern Europe.
In addition to writing, Katherine enjoys scrapbooking, heirloom sewing, voice, cello, art, and photography. She has been active in church music ministry for many years, both as a cellist and vocalist.
Katherine and her husband Craig live in the North Texas area where they home school their three children -- Sean David, Rachael, and Samuel.
