To measure: (All measurements are in inches.)
Bust: Measure around largest part of chest.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of the waist. If waist is unclear, tie a string or piece of elastic lightly around the waist. Have the girl move around until the string settles into place on its own. This is the waist. Measure with measuring tape.
Hip: The hip measurement is not necessary for Praise Hems children's dresses because of the full skirts.
Neck-to-waist: Find the knot on the spine at the base of the neck. Measure from this knot to natural waistline.
Waist-to-hem: If you are having a dress custom-made, you may specify your own skirt length. Ready-made dresses will be approximately as shown on chart above. All children's dress skirts fall below the knee.
Crossover apron lengths are as shown on chart above. Pullover aprons fall mid-thigh.
